I believe in the power of play! My students will use the Geoboards, Magnetic Tiles, Interlox Squares and other materials for their morning tubs. This will help foster creative, hands-on and spontaneous play! I believe this can be done through a short block of time during our morning where students can engage in small groups with each other in a safe and positive way. Imaginative play and exploration are so important in paving the way for academic and social readiness! I want to create a classroom environment that encourages healthy, mental and social development as well as set the stage for academic learning.
