These items will make a huge difference in the flow and feel of our classroom. A large, bright comfortable rug with plenty of knee and elbow room for my Kinders to enjoy a story, actively participate in group meetings and activities, and a comfy place to play and work in small groups. In addition to a large carpet, a moveable whiteboard/magnet easel that can be moved and seen from anywhere in the room. Students can use magnets to make words and dry erase markers to write and create. This also would give us a place to hang and display chart paper for Morning Messages and other writing opportunities. Lastly, incorporating some new and safe flexible seats for students to do their personal best. My goal is to create a comfortable and fun learning environment that encourages students to find the way they learn best! If students need to wiggle, stand, bounce, lay down, sit criss-cross with clip-boards to learn then I want to have the right pieces for them to do so.
