Students who participate in the AVID Elective Program will be exposed to college and career readiness learning opportunities and experiences. Students will research different colleges to determine the various institutions that have their areas of concentration. More importantly, having identifiable representations in the learning environment will inspire them to inquiry and explore these institutions at home. Students participating in the AVID Elective program will also be given the opportunity to participate in college visits to several of these local institutions to gain a once-in-a-lifetime experience that could change their trajectories forever!

About my class
