Children of all ages learn best by doing; not just by seeing and/or listening to their teacher lecture. Whenever, possible I create hands on science centers in my classroom. These centers enable my students to further cement the concepts taught through hands on discovery and experimentation. Having new, up-to-date, and creative materials will enhance my teaching style. The Electra Dough classroom set will enable my students to understand electrical circuits by creating their own. The litmus paper will enable them to test for acids and bases. The magnetic ferro fluid bottle will be fun for them play with enabling their understanding of magnetism within liquids.
