My classroom consists of 25 enthusiastic 8 and 9 year olds. Our school lies in the mountains of western Maine. Due to our rural location, many students often face challenges related to poverty. Despite these challenges, my students are energetic, inquisitive, and creative learners. My goal as a teacher is to create a classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and allows my students to explore their curiosity about the world.
