In connection with our living things and plants units, we are learning how sustainable living through growing our own food can support our community. My kids are incorporating math skills by measuring, collecting data, and graphing plant growth. In addition, they have been learning and using research skills to investigate the best plants for our area and what the plants need. My students were very excited to create our own school garden and now we are ready to learn how composting can help that garden grow. Not only will this Algreen Products Soil Saver Classic Compost bin benefit our garden, but it will help my kids learn the importance of food waste in our school. Thank you for helping my kids learn how to be more globally sustainable.
