The use of technology is a daily practice in our classroom. Lessons are commonly given with the use of our SmartBoard. However, students mainly use whiteboards and activity books to display their work. I would love the chance for more student engagement by allowing movement through out our room with light-weight electronic devices. This would be extremely beneficial when conducting group work through stations. By having tablets, students will be able to use QR codes, quickly check their work and focus on increasing their learning! We are looking to provide our classroom with 5 Amazon Fire Tablets! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and learn how to be 21st century learners. In this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
