Providing the learning environment that my little humans need through flexible classrooms will give my little humans a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them. Students will be allowed to choose an area in class where they feel they work best. It will help them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking better. These little humans all learn so differently and I want to celebrate each and everyone one of them through these new choices. That’s why I am asking for two wobble chairs, four floor seats, and bins so they can use as “their desk”! The end goal of flexible seating arrangement will be for students to be more engaged in learning instead of their behavior and they will benefit because their academic achievement will rise! They will use the wobble chairs and floor seating after our math Lesson, writers workshop and readers workshop. They will immediately feel like they have stepped into a new classroom where their choices are valued. Help me bring this vision to my shining bright stars !
