As an English Language Development and Academic Study Skills teacher at Glendale Middle School, my goal is to create a classroom where every student feels supported, capable, and equipped to succeed. I teach a wonderfully diverse group of learners with different languages, cultures, experiences, and academic abilities who are developing the English and literacy skills they need to access grade-level learning. As a Title I school, we are committed to helping every student make meaningful academic progress. I am passionate about creating an inclusive classroom where students can strengthen their skills, see themselves as successful learners, and learn from one another. My goal is for every student to leave my classroom with greater confidence, independence, and the skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.
