My students come from a range of backgrounds. They are mainly middle-class. We do have a high rate of single-parent families. My students need the opportunity to not only be enriched by these centers, but to some it's one of their only chances to work on communication skills with other students and adults. These centers keep them active, not just sitting in front of their teacher with paper and pencil. It brings learning to life!

About my class
