My students come from low-income families. Purchasing school material is difficult sometimes. By providing composition notebooks from the first day of class will allow the students to start their learning and organization skills right away. The composition notebook will become an interactive notebook filled with hands-on activities, foldables, algebra facts to remember, and home learning assignments. It will provide a place where students can keep all their work in one place. The Hammermill Copy Paper will help the teacher and the students produce products that will help them organize and "make sense" of the algebraic concepts. In addition, foldables are created by folding paper in such a way to make learning "fun". It is a way to organize math facts. The students will be using graphic organizers to make mathematics more accessible to them. It is another way for students to communicate with math.
