I have chosen books from the Who Was... series in addition to famous books of women throughout history. These books will give students exposure to famous Hispanics and African Americans from history! After conducting several biographical research projects in writing, students have become more interested in nonfiction resources. Unfortunately students were forced to exclusively use online resources to learn about these figures, since I lack print titles on the subject. I hope to make print resources available to students, through this project. Thank you for your time and consideration of this project! I hope you will choose to make a difference in the lives of my students, through a donation!
