Students are expected to learn each math standard we teach them, but each students has a different style of learning. The Math Manipulative Toolbox will help students to decide which manipulative helps them complete assignments in the most efficient way. The toolbox can be stored in the desks which makes for easy access. This will also help with students getting up and down, moving about the classroom, looking for manipulatives to use. We teach how to use each manipulative throughout the year. Students will be able to have their own materials and not have to worry about sharing and possibly not getting as much hands on access as they need.
