I am requesting funding for an amazing conference called The Daily Five Framework and Cafe Literacy System. I have been given the opportunity to get a taste of what this instruction can do in a classroom environment, and it is amazing! I want more! With this two-day conference I will be given more tools to make this a success in my classroom. The flow of the classroom instruction and confidence in the students brings an amazing feeling of camaraderie to our learning environment. The speakers are amazing, and the tools that are given create an engaging classroom experience that students thrive in! This conference will allow me to differentiate the instruction in my classroom to meet the needs of individual students. It will teach me how to teach them to become independent readers who read because they enjoy it! My goal as a teacher is to guide students to become life-long learners, and what better way to accomplish this than by loving to read!
