My students are beginning readers and need access to a variety of guided reading books to capture their interest and create a love for reading. I am firm in my belief that students should be instructed with a new "just right" book each day during guided readng. This is why I need more leveled readers for guided reading instruction. When students are reading every day they are gaining new vocabulary and deepening comprehension skills while learning to decode words. This will help my students in being exposed to a variety of fiction and non-fiction books to help them be successful as they continue their journey in learning!
