The performances space for CHES is quite behind technologically and aesthetically. The sound system is as old as the school is, and is beginning to show its wear. A more dependable sound system would allow my students to focus more on the quality of their preparedness, not the quality of their sound through the speakers! My students will use this microphone for grade programs, choir concerts, and drama club performances! This mic will also be used for school assemblies of all kinds. The microphone we currently use is being held together with tape, and its battery life is getting shorter and shorter. A new one would drastically improve the simplicity of rehearsing!
