Algebra is difficult enough to learn without the use of a calculator. The calculators that I am requesting will provide my classroom with a familiar calculator to learn and test with. Students already struggle with Algebra, so they do not need to struggle with a calculator that they are unfamiliar with during their state assessments. By donating to our class, you will allow my students to get past the unfamiliarity of a new calculator during testing and focus on the questions at hand. Students will be able to focus their knowledge towards their learning and assessments, not inability to use a new calculator.
