During centers, I try to have a sensory bin or center every day. Having something that my students can play with at center time that can give them sensory input as well as a new learning experience. This is crucial to their success. My students are calmer and more engaged in their daily activities when they are given opportunities for sensory input. The products I have selected would allow for multiple learning opportunities for my students as well as new sensory experiences. I want to provide a light table and clear sensory objects to go into the table. In my classroom, I already have translucent alphabet letters and magnet blocks. I also wanted to provide wiggle cushions for students who need extra input while sitting during group/table time.
