My students are always so pumped up for physical education class. It is my pleasure to instruct them on ways to be healthy while having fun. One of my favorite things to do is to teach them how to play team sports as it motivates them to play activities that will keep them active and fit not only throughout their schooling but also throughout life. The students at my school love to play basketball, but we are in desperate need of more basketballs, pumps, and bags to store them in. The ones we have now are old and have lost their grips as well as do not hold air well. This prevents them from playing non-stop in physical education class because we have to break to get a new ball or pump that one back up. In addition to new balls, they we need addition pumps to pump the balls up with. We also need new bags to store the balls in as well as to transport them when we have to move from the gym to the cafeteria or auxiliary gym. Since there are times we need to share gym space, having cone markers would help my students understand their boundaries and what is "in" bounce and "out of" bounce. These resources would provide my students with the necessary equipment to learn the sport of basketball and to have fun while getting fit.
