Tablets will allow the ability for most of my students to be engaged in a rigorous activity at the same time, but maybe on different apps. The remainder of my students that are not using the tablets will be in small group focusing in on a particular skill. Tablets are an awesome way to get technology in the hands of our future adults. With the use of tablets the students will be able to access different apps that focus on building the necessary skills in reading. Besides the many available apps, students may work on task cards and activities through BOOM Learning. Boom Learning allows the teacher to assign individual assignments through the tablets.
