The resources I selected will offer my students the ability to make decisions about what is best for them and their own personal learning style when choosing a seat. Every student does not learn in the same way and some students need to be able to move around, bounce, sit on the floor, stand, etc in order to do their best learning and thinking. I want to offer my students more variety and more control over their own learning style. Each of these flexible seating choices like balance balls and stools will make the classroom more exciting, engaging, and conducive to meeting the needs of all students, everyday. Lap desks will allow students to comfortably sit on the floor while still being able to do their work. Rocking stools give students the ability to sway slightly in their seats when having a hard time sitting still. Each day students will know that they have the power to make a decision about their learning and what will work best for them. Giving them choices and responsibility will encourage them to grow and take charge of their own education.
