My students would benefit from an air purifier because it would improve both attention and attendance in my classroom. My students come to me with many health concerns like asthma, allergies, and skin conditions. These health issues have resulted in excessive absences. A high tech, quality air cleaner would be a welcome addition to our classroom. This would help us learn in a safe and healthy environment. Students will be more alert breathing fresh, clean air. Research shows that students learn best with pure air. Our building is aging, and has carpet that is nearly twenty years old. Students get tired and have cold-like symptoms in this stale environment.
