My students are due for new and more up to date calculators after some were damaged by Hurricane Harvey. With the purchase of the TI 84 CE Plus Calculators I will be able to guarantee that all my students in my classroom will have access to the same type of calculator and they will also be able to read the screen clearer and the buttons they need to press as well. The TI 84 CE Plus Calculators will allow all my students and me to be on the same page in class when learning new concepts, so that we will be able to work faster and dive deeper into the concept. The older TI 84 Calculators I am using now have buttons that can not be read anymore because they are older and have been worn out. With the buttons being worn out, it makes it hard to keep lessons moving at a steady pace so we can dive deeper into the concept being taught. Having these calculators will make it easier because they are able to be charged and I will not have to worry about spending money on replacing batteries as often and less chance of the batteries corroding and making the calculator not work anymore. My physics classes will be able to formulate equations and make predictions with more ease with these calculators.
