By receiving this subscription to TIME magazine, my students will gain the enrichment and insight necessary to succeed in our information-heavy world. As it is, my students have a great absence of historical and scientific context that limits their formation of their world view. I want to help them create and shape that view in ways that will enable them to seek out all opportunities and possibilities. Experience and exposure can make the difference between "needing" and "succeeding." Students will use these magazines in small groups, partner reading, and homework. The can also use them as a springboard for extended research assignments and class presentations. I believe this small investment will have huge returns!
