With our group time carpet/rug, my students will be able to share experiences through hands-on graphing and counting. Our class will be able to visually see others and their choices through group work and class conversations. Our carpet/rug area will help students have a place to express themselves where others can visually see what the student is talking about. Our kindergarten math students will be able to learn not only math skills but also communication skills. They will be able to apply real life experiences to their math experiences. First and second graders will be able to enhance their math skills by using this area.
