The goal is to create a Sensory Classroom for our students that truly gives our classroom a "feel" that is different from every other room in the building. Forging the way into Sensory Classrooms for our school district, we are building from the ground up, literally. Items such as the peel and stick decals and bubble towers will provide a sensory experience that can't be obtained in the regular classroom. The addition of the inflatable lounger, the hammock swing and sensory sock will aid in making the room a safe space for our students seeking security, comfort and predictability. These donations are going to make it possible for our students to access an environment that will enhance their ability to have success in the regular classroom.
