The Chromebooks will allow our students to use online assessments such as iReady and research various topics to complete written assignments. In addition, the Chromebooks will allow our students to complete group projects in school rather than at home. Many of our students do not have technology or Wi-Fi in their homes. Our students use online assessment tools. The assessments requires our students to write responses to stories they have read. Providing our students with Chromebooks will allow daily practice on writing responses and how to complete online assessments accurately. We also need wireless mice to use with the Chromebooks and laser pointers. The laser pointers will allow us to move around the room while teaching a lesson to better assess our students. Technology is a must in the education arena.
