Our classroom is a multi-age room filled with third and fourth graders. Some of these students read at a middle school level, while others struggle to meet grade level marks. I inherited my library from the previous teacher and it is lacking in fun, interesting, age-appropriate books for my students. They enjoy reading immensely, but I struggle to help them find great books to read from what we currently have. I have supplemented our library with many of my own books from growing up, and I cannot keep them on the shelves! My students are constantly talking about books, sharing books, and asking me for need titles of recommendations. Your donation will help immensely in building our library to something we can use both for teaching purposes and to introduce and continue to grow these kids love of literature.
