I am choosing to use flexible seating because it meets the needs of my very diverse learners. It is a tool to help my students learn not toys to make the classroom more fun. Students are responsible for choosing a spot where they feel the most comfortable. Thus, better allowing them to do their best. Flexible seating also allows for better collaboration among my students. They are able to sit with a partner or a group to collaborate on a project because there is more space in the classroom. The opportunities made available through flexible seating will have a large impact on my classroom. The supplies I have chosen will help my students to be comfortable in our classroom and to do their best at all times. I ordered these specific tools because I believe that they will have the biggest impact in my classroom. The wobble chairs will provide my students that have more energy with a place to get their wiggles out in a positive way. The bar stools and roller chairs provide the students with more comfortable options to sit and collaborate at.
