I am typically the classroom which is given the students with special needs within the building. Many of my students have difficulties with attention and being able to focus on their work. Regardless of if a student has special needs or is a "typical child" all students should be able to be given as many advantages to learning as possible. Studies show that when students are able to hear lessons clearly, their learning is greatly improved. Students use many senses and learn differently; however, many parts of teaching include some type of listening within a lesson. When students hear clearly, they are more easily able to process what they hear and retain the learning. By having an amplification system, all students within my classroom, regardless of how they learn or their learning ability, will be able to make larger gains in their abilities due to being able to hear more clearly.
