The Track and Field throwers at our high school work hard year-round to throw the Shot Put, Discus, and Javelin as far as they can. While they are learning the skills of the track and field throwing events they are building positive character traits like grit, perseverance, and determination, and they are building strong and positive relationships with their teammates and coaches. This is a great group of young athletes and they strive to do their best each day. Your donation supports our athletes in achieving their goals as throwers! The throwing events require specialized training equipment for developing the skills of throwing, and the needed strength and speed to be explosive. Our athletes need quality equipment for practice and competition in order to meet their athletic potential to compete at their very best. The high quality throwing and training equipment provided by Dick's Sporting Goods in this Donor's Choose will go to good use this season and many seasons to come for our track and field throwing program.
