We are currently using equipment purchased in the 1970's that has been transported, dropped, and bumped into several times over the years. While it sounds good, it's just not as trustworthy as it once was. We will use this amp in our jazz ensemble which plays a wide variety of music from the big band-era to more current jazz/funk/rock tunes. Our pep band plays typically at 12+ events per basketball season. In addition, we usually have either an electric bass or keyboard bass cover the bass part in our pit orchestra for our spring musical each year. On occasion, the bassist will also with our concert band on a musical medley or a more pop-like tune.
