My students need the following school supplies: Folders, notebooks, erasers, dry-erase markers, crayons, pencils and pencil lead. Typically, about 80-90% of my students do not bring beginning of the year supplies because their families can't afford it. I want all students to feel that they're secure and have an abundant access to supplies, regardless of a family's ability to pay! My students learn organization and neatness by organizing their schoolwork with colored folders. Additionally, my hope is that my students' basic needs for paper, pencils, dry-erase markers, crayons, and erasers will be met for the first semester and that all students will have enough materials at home for homework as well!
