Children in my classroom are working on a Science project concerning to trees and plants. Part of this project is toward the investigation of environmental hazzards and the protection of nature. My students will be involved in different activities like drawing, painting, participating in physical field trips, and visiting different educational online websites, to closely explore different places that accurate instruct these kids on why plants and trees are essentials in their environment. By receiving your help in donating the two tablets, my 20 students would have wide opportunities to explore the magic of the environment; they will also be more illustrated in subjects like the human kind, the life in the jungle, the importance of the forest, and the seasonal factors that influence in the color of the plants. As an experienced teacher I totally believe that tablets are a wonderful resource which used in children’s early education could influence in their way how they perceive and see the world. By navigating in the tablets within the different websites my students will observe the nature in colorful pictures which at the same time will expand their basic idea of the planet they live in. Tablets would be a great source for my students to feel more invited to participate with fresh ideas; it would increase their feelings in socializing and working in team by being together; it also could be a perfect opportunity for the teacher to increase their feelings on friendship and respect for each other.
