These resources will allow my students to access all of our learning materials. Right now, my students are unable to access writing materials, word work folders, or sight word lists independently. These materials will allow me to organize my room in a way that is more accessible to my learners. We will use pencil cases as individual word holders. This will allow each students the ability to keep track of their differentiated word list and access the words they are working on. The new command hooks will allow me to hang clipboards around the room, turning our whole space into a work station. The shelf will create storage at their level, so students can access math manipulatives, art supplies, and writing materials.
These materials will allow learning to occur independently and at a quicker pace.
Students will be able to walk over get writing tools, phonics games and sight words without my help. This will free me up to focus on larger learning goals, while teaching my students crucial independent and organization skills.
