Learning readiness skills is best accomplished through multi-sensory experiences. The Magnetic letter builder will help with learning letters and writing while helping build the self-esteem that they need. My students learn through a variety of experiences that are fun, hands-on and challenging. Building students confidence through fun prewriting activities promotes the motivation and excitement needed to succeed in their writing skills. The best way to increase writing ability is to write more, and the magnetic letter builder will help my students grow stronger in their writing skills. A few of my students work best when provided with adaptive pencil grips allowing them to develop an efficient grasp thus decreasing hand fatigue and having a significant effect on handwriting speed, letter formation, spatial organization. How fun would it be to pretend play and write a menu with Create- A - Burger sequencing activity or even use crinkle craft cutting scissors to make silly letters and words for our bulletin board. My students already have shown an enthusiastic interest in using letters and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the magical world of letters.
