Hello! I am a speech language pathologist working with students in preschool to 5th grade. The students have a wide range of needs. Some students struggle with saying speech sounds correctly so others can understand them. Some have difficulties with using words effectively to communicate with teachers and peers. Others are finding it difficult to comprehension and learn at their grade level. A handful of students are learning to manage and accept their stuttering. Several students have autism and are learning social skills to better interact with their teachers and peers. Many of these students no matter the reason they need speech therapy have concerns with attending to the task at hand and need various tools to help them attend better. One way or another these students are in the process of over coming an obstacle at an early age.
