All students need an opportunity to discover a love for reading. The best way for them to do so is to give them access to a wide variety of books that interest them. The libraries budget for books is not large, especially when considering the need to purchase books that fit different curricula. Due to turnover in the library in recent years, the collection has not been maintained the way it should have. With your help, we can purchase books that will entice our students to read and choose books of their own liking. The students have shared ideas with me about what they would like to see in the library.
