Our students are from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Many have suffered from undiagnosed speech and language disabilities, and are just now getting the help they need. This puts them at a greater disadvantage in acquiring literacy skills. The academic demands are so great for the child with language processing delays. The listening center is a specific treatment for such children. This center will allow them to have consistent exposure to auditory training in several contexts, thus building language skills in several areas.

About my class
