By having an outside storage cabinet, the children will have access to all their outside toys all the time. These include bubbles, a bucket of chalk, hula hoops, jump ropes, balls, doll house furniture, scooters, and we are hoping to get 2 trikes soon. Right now these toys are all stored inside our classroom closet which is very small and also houses the classes refrigerator, kitchen appliances and supplies, extra center toys, and art supplies. Right now in order for us the get into the closet we have to move things around just to walk into the closet, also we can not take out everything when we go outside because it is to much stuff so we take toys out by child's request. We would love to be able to just open the doors to a storage cabinet and let the students have full access to all the outside toys.
