My 98 students are currently using tables that I drug down from the storage facility five years ago. They had been retired by other teachers! I have no idea how old they are. None of them will fold up and many of them fall down, have cuts, chips, and are not the same size. I prefer tables when we are creating our maps and projects. Kids can be grouped together and have plenty of work space to complete their projects without running off the edge of a desk and creating holes in their poster boards or dropping their projects. The six new rectangular tables will give the students workable tables and when we are acting out our history, we can fold them up and move them out of the way!
