I am requesting tetherballs for my students to use during recess. This will change the recess environment in my school. The 18" balls will be also used by my students during recess and I know that the size of these balls will excite my students and allow them to play together with others. During recess, I will organize a checkout system for my students. Here is where they will use the equipment to learn leadership skills as they check out equipment to their peers. They learn responsibility when they collect hem back for storage. This system will improve recess for my students tremendously. Having access to good equipment will keep their minds and bodies active and ready for learning.
