My students get super excited when I enthusiastically share a book I have read. This is only my 4th year teaching middle school so my classroom library is limited. We need more options that include more relevant topics and high interest reads. Some of these will be used as options for lit circles, others are additions to complete existing series. We are trying lit circles for the first time this year so we need high interest reads for the students to choose from. Some of these titles have been requested by students because they aren’t available in our school library.
