These organizers will allow the students to put their notes, handouts, planner and homework in one place. These organizers will allow them to be able to transport notes, classwork and homework without the feeling of papers getting lost. Furthermore, It will also allow them to practice being more organized with their work and learn how to retrieve the work for later use at home and school. These file organizers will serve as an early tool for 2nd grade students to practice how to organize paperwork and materials. As these students enter 3rd grade and above, they will be required to keep all their work and supplies in an AVID Binder. Lastly, it will help with parent-teacher-school connections since it can serve as a mode to send home notes and flyers of events happening at school.
