The whiteboards will help students complete AVID tutorials! Some of the whiteboards our students currently use are wobbly and fall down easily. Students hate using these stations because so much of their time is spent adjusting the boards. These boards will be used regularly by our students, as we do tutorials regularly! Approximately 300 students use these tutorial stations/boards between myself and the two other AVID elective teachers! That is a lot of lives that will be impacted by your generous donation! These whiteboards are sometimes used for other collaborative activities/games or for note-taking as well! Collaboration is a skill that students will need for the rest of their lives. The tutorial activity mixes this skill practice with the academic knowledge they need to comprehend from their core (math, science, social studies, and language arts) courses.
