Imagine an underwater classroom with bio-luminescent jellyfish and a variety of other ocean animals. Despite the fact that our community is located about 20 minutes from Virginia Beach some of our learners have never experienced a trip to the beach. As their art teacher and a product of a scuba diving family, my wish is to bring the magic of the night time underwater world to the classroom. Black lights and a variety of fluorescent art supplies will make our ocean drawings and sculptures come to life and provide a real-world connection for our students. Your donation will help us bring the ocean inside.
