By receiving the Magna Tiles as well as the other building materials, my students will be able to enter the classroom every morning with joy as they start off the first 20 minutes of the day using there hands in a creative manner. They will know that they can create, and inspire classmates with the different bin options. This is a very engaging way to start off our day, instead of just coming into the room and working on a worksheet. I think this will allow my students to begin their day more eager to learn. Stem Bins are a great way to get my students already thinking outside the box before our day even begins. Teaching first grade my students are still working on their fine motor skills, by using the interlocking disks my students are able to use their imaginations to the best of their ability.
