The addition of a light table to my classroom will be beneficial to the students because it is a educational and entertaining activity that kids enjoy. A light table is an excellent source of visual sensory input for the students. Children are drawn to the glow of the table and are often calmed by the visual stimulation as they explore the center. The numerous manipulatives will help the students learn basic preschool concepts. Playing at the light table also has a positive impact on the child’s attention span and ability to focus because they are very engaged in the activities. The students will enjoy working together while learning through play.
