Students come to my storybook corner for almost every lesson in the library. We also have a table area and computers, but the storybook area has a SMART board and a few novelty seats already. But 24 students fighting for 15 seats leave quite a few sitting on the floor. This means I always have a few unhappy students at the beginning of every lesson. We used to have two bean bag chairs, however, they were crushed and torn after many years of use. Some new bean bag sofas would make the perfect replacement. These would be used and shared during lessons and used during recess for reading. My hope is that they encourage students to utilize them for reading.
