The calculators and pencils will help my students be prepared for math class each and every day. Most of my students are inner city kids that have very little availability to school supplies. The paper easel will help the students have regular notes and vocab available around the room. If my students had a class set of supplies available to them they would most certainly be able to work and stay focused better on class work. Students are always encouraged to seek how to apply real-world applications of their assignments and projects. We will be pursuing how computer engineering, paired programming, and computer science applies to mathematics.
